| Greetings! |
|
A couple of things that I wanted to bring to your attention.
First off, our next meeting is going to be April 10th at
Wolverine World Wide. Our guest speaker is Alan Schneider of
Princeton Softech on the subject of Data Privacy.
The other objective of this meeting is to elect new officers.
As you may already know, I am stepping down. Jeff Gurney is
also going to step down as Secretary. We are making a call
for any one willing to serve as an officer to please let me
know and we'll get you on the ballot. |
| I want to say it's been a pleasure to serve as president and I
hope my successor enjoys it as much as I have. Quite a bit has
changed in the six years I've been here: Oracle has released
two major versions of the database (9i and 10g); the web has
become an integral part of our professional lives; and a whole
host of new technologies that I'm still trying to get my head
around. What a ride. |
